WyoTech’s history began in June 1966 when 22 students from Wyoming and surrounding states started their careers in Automotive Technology in Laramie, Wyoming. Since then, WyoTech has graduated over 26,000 students from across the nation and several foreign countries.
A significant milestone was reached when WyoTech opened its doors in the spring of 2002 for training in the automotive and collision/refinishing industries at a branch campus located in Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
This campus received its initial accreditation in October 2001 and has received approval from 48 state governing authorities. WyoTech has maintained a policy of constantly upgrading facilities and courses to meet growing demands of the automotive, diesel, and collision/refinishing industries. You can read more about WyoTech policies on our WyoTech resources page.
Blairsville is a close-knit community of approximately 4,000 citizens nestled in the Conemaugh River Valley with the Conemaugh River forming 180 degrees of the town’s perimeter border. Blairsville is rich in history as one of the vital transportation links between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh that facilitated the settling of this great nation in it’s infancy.
Throughout its history, WyoTech has kept its instructors abreast of the latest techniques, added new equipment as needed, and updated curriculum as changes occurred in the industry. “Moving into the Future” is not simply a slogan at WyoTech, it is a commitment.

Just trying to get some information, would like to train to be a motorcycle mechanic however I’m interested in auto mechanics as well, thanks.
Daytona in Florida is the only campus that offers motorcycle courses, but im a student at the blairsville campus. It is a very professional atmosphere and i have learned alot.
I was originally going to go into the motorcycle tech field but im more of a 2 wheel relaxing guy. And my brother and I just finished building a 331 for his once fuel injected now carburated 94 mustang, we are car fanatics! I pride my self on my work and I know I can better myself by attending Wyotech. This would be a dream come true to do what I love everyday and get paid to do it. So if you could please send me some information about your performance classes. Thanks. Tony
